This asterism of 10' size looks like one of the shields the mediaval knights used. It is not upstanding but lying with its long side nearly alined to the east-west direction.
The object lies close to the northern rim of the "Pegasus Square", about 6 degree east and 2,5 degree south of Alpha Andromedae. Below you find one finder-chart for the object (click to enlarge).
This area is full of galaxies of modest brightness. With more than 20cm aperture several of them can be detected.
