Description

This asterism of 10' size looks like one of the shields the mediaval knights used. It is not upstanding but lying with its long side nearly alined to the east-west direction. detailed view of Le14

How to find it

The object lies close to the northern rim of the "Pegasus Square", about 6 degree east and 2,5 degree south of Alpha Andromedae. Below you find one finder-chart for the object (click to enlarge).

Note

This area is full of galaxies of modest brightness. With more than 20cm aperture several of them can be detected.
